Now that his latest comedy film Spy is officially playing in theaters, writer-director Paul Feig is moving on to other projects. Notably he's got a gender-swapped version of the Ghostbusters going on over at Sony, the cast of which is already composed of Melissa McCarthy, Kristen WiigKate McKinnon, and Leslie Jones. It looks like the title characters themselves are not the only ones switching gender roles as Feig announced on social media that the worthy, hammer-wielding Chris Hemsworth will be playing the team's receptionist. Here's Paul Feig's announcement:

This is pretty fantastic for a number of reasons. First and foremost, Hemsworth is a big name and a recognizable face. Second, imagining the imposing actor stuffed behind a desk and taking orders from the team is enough to make me laugh already. And thirdly, when considering that he'll be filling the shoes of Annie Potts and her excellent portrayal of tough, no-nonsense secretary Janine Melnitz, I can only imagine just what sort of personality quirks he's going to bring to the roll. Need a refresher? Here's a look:

Now the next question is, will Secretary Hemsworth be smitten with one of the lady Ghostbusters? If so, who do we think it will be? And since we're swapping gender roles left and right, then certainly there has to be a lady version of Rick Moranis' Louis Tully to act as irritant/comedic foil/potential love interest for Hemsworth?
