If you've taken the time to revisit the original Ghostbusters lately, or if you're just one of those people who can recite the film from beginning to end, you'll know that quite a lot of the humor from the use of gadgets and other supernatural thingamajigs. Whether attempting to explain the importance of the containment unit to Egon's warning that it would be "bad" if they crossed the Proton Pack streams, the film made great use of these inventive utilities, and of course, Paul Feig's anticipated remake of the comedy is looking to capitalize and even double-down on that line of thinking.

In a new video that was posted to the Ghostbusters Facebook account, Feig and the cast of the film go over all the new pieces of equipment that we can expect to see in the remake when it hits theaters on July 15th. Kate McKinnon explains that their Proton Pack began as an oversized nuclear-lazer that has to be wheeled around before they figure out a way to put them on their backs; Leslie Jones says she dropped a few dress sizes just lugging the pieces around on the set all day. We also get a clear look at all the variations to the usual Proton Pack cannon, including the Proton pistols that McKinnon's character uses and the Proton shotgun that Kristen Wiig's character wields. These pieces look pretty  cool but at this point, I just want to see this movie and watch it make a bunch of money while the regular misogynists and the "I'm not a misogynist but..." misogynists scream into the void.
