Last week, LEGO released images of the Ghostbusters reboot set they would be selling for the upcoming film, and it revealed images of not only the reliable Ecto-1, but also a motorcycle dubbed the “Ecto-2”. At the time, we weren’t sure if the Ecto-2 would be showing up in the film or if this was just a toy company building out their vehicles. But now we know that the Ecto-2 is officially part of the reboot canon as a motorcycle the new team will have at their disposal.
Die-hard fans may remember that this isn’t the first Ecto-2 in the series’ history. The animated series had an Ecto-2 that was an autogyro. It was a fun design, but better suited to an animated show than a live-action movie. The bike looks pretty sweet, and I’m eager to see it in action.
