There's been a quite a lot of anticipation building up around Paul Feig's upcoming Ghostbusters reboot, which envisions the titular spectre-eliminating team as an all-female cadre. Of course, quite a lot of hay has been made about the parallel all-male version that may or may not star Chris Pratt and Channing Tatum, but that entire rigamarole still seems very vague and ill-defined in terms of what exactly the status of that male-centric film is. What we do know is that Chris Hemsworth will be playing the Ghostbusters' secretary, Kevin, and today we got our first look at good ol' Thor in his more of-this-earth glory.

Anyone aware of the project knows that the new team will be played by Kristen WiigMelissa McCarthyKate McKinnon, and Leslie Jones, and Neil Casey, of the recent buzzed-about indie-comedy Fort Tilden and Comedy Central's Broad City, is set as the main villain of the film. More recently, Feig, who most recently directed the quite funny Spy with McCarthy and Rose Byrne, also announced the casting of Matt Walsh, Cecily TysonMichael K. Williams, and Andy Garcia in supporting roles. Regardless, it's a delight to see Hemsworth in a more light-hearted-looking role, and I honestly just doubled-over laughing thinking of him reciting any of Annie Potts or Rick Moranis's lines, as he looks to be a splice of their two characters.
