According to a report from The Wrap, plans are already in motion for a sequel to Paul Feig‘s female-led reboot to Ghostbusters starring Melissa McCarthy, Leslie Jones, Kristen Wiig and Kate McKinnon. Speaking to the outlet, president of worldwide distribution for Sony, Rory Bruer said the Ghostbusters world is alive and well and expects Ghostbusters to become an important brand and franchise. He finished saying there’s no doubt in his mind a sequel will happen. Ghostbusters came in second place during its first weekend in theaters, grossing an estimated $46 million from 3,963 screens.  The film is on track to unseat the 1984 Ghostbusters as the highest grossing horror comedy of all time.

According to THR, David Petersen‘s 10-year running, Eisner-winning comic book series Mouse Guard is set for a film adaptation with Dawn of the Planet of the Apes director Matt Reeves and Rogue One: A Star Wars Story screenwriter Gary Whitta. 20th Century Fox has optioned Petersen’s best-selling work for an adaptation penned by Whitta with Reeves producing alongside Boom! Studios’ Ross Richie and Stephen Christy. Reeves is only set in a producing capacity at this time. Mouse Guard is set in a world of sentient mice who live in a medieval era that parallels the same age in human history, though in their world there are no humans. The story revolves around a brotherhood of mice known as the "Mouse Guard" who have sworn an oath to serve their fellow civilian mice in times of need, including making safe passage for them through the wilderness and protecting them from predators. Fox plans to use the technology pioneered for Apes (and used earlier this year in The Jungle Book) for a live-action/CG hybrid film. No release date has been set.

Hey guys, Love everything you do and keeps my day fresh.

So I recently saw Brick from Rian Johnson and I loved it. I just saw it because I loved Looper and can’t wait to see what he bring to Episode 8. So my question is that is there any director whose previous films you loved even more than the one that made him famous?

Damon Ward writes

Hey guys,

My question is what is the worst movie in your opinion that deserves an immediate remake? I'd prefer a movie that came out from 2000s and forward. My choice would be The Last Airbender.

Thanks for taking my question.
