Finally, finally! During the Netflix TCA panel (for an explainer of what the TCAs are go here) the streaming giant released the first footage from its hugely anticipated Gilmore Girls revival. Running 4 episodes that correspond with the seasons, the new Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life will catch us up with all of our old favorites, though most especially give us a glimpse at what life is like now for Lorelai (Lauren Graham) and Rory (Alexis Bledel).

The first trailer not only highlights all of the well-known Stars Hollow landmarks that we've missed, but also gives us a glimpse of some new Lorelai and Rory conversations, including whether or not Lorelai would be friends with Amy Schumer. I also love how they incorporate the fact that Rory would absolutely be looking things up on her phone all of the time, to both learn more and fact check Lorelai. Check it out below:

As the trailer lets us know, the series will debut November 25th, which is forever away. But! at least we are getting some more time with Amy Sherman-Palladino's series, and Melissa McCarthy (Sookie), Kelly Bishop (Emily), Sean Gunn (Kirk), Keiko Agena (Lane), and of course Scott Patterson (Luke), and all of Rory's past loves, including Jared Padalecki’s Dean, Milo Ventimiglia’s Jess, and Matt Czuchry’s Logan.

Let us know what you think of the first trailer in the comments. For more on the Gilmore Girls revival, check out our recent coverage:
