I thought 2014’s Godzilla was a blast, and while I expect Godzilla: King of the Monsters to be pretty different (probably not as much asking the audience to patiently wait for Godzilla to show up), it’s clear that the Toho icon has finally gotten the love and recognition he deserves from filmmakers who understand what makes the character so appealing. Once you throw in other iconic monsters like King Ghidorah, Mothra, and Rodan, you’ve got an appealing combination that other Godzilla movies have attempted but never at this scale or budget.

I’m pleased to announce we’re giving away 25 admit-two passes to the Atlanta screening of Godzilla: King of the Monsters. To enter for a chance to see the movie early and for free, send an e-mail to Collider.Passes@gmail.com with the subject line “GODZILLA”. The screening is Tuesday, May 28th at 7:30pm at Regal Atlantic Station, so please don’t enter if you think you’ll be unavailable. Multiple entries from a single person will disqualify all entries from that person.

Check out the latest Godzilla: King of the Monsters trailer below. The film opens May 31st.

Here’s the official synopsis for Godzilla: King of the Monsters:

The new story follows the heroic efforts of the crypto-zoological agency Monarch as its members face off against a battery of god-sized monsters, including the mighty Godzilla, who collides with Mothra, Rodan, and his ultimate nemesis, the three-headed King Ghidorah. When these ancient super-species—thought to be mere myths—rise again, they all vie for supremacy, leaving humanity’s very existence hanging in the balance.
