And the best trailer of 2015 is…for the Best Picture of 2015! The Golden Trailer Awards have announced their full winners list for the best trailers of last year, and Spotlight took home the Best of Show award for its stellar debut trailer. It’s hard to argue with this pick, as that trailer does a terrific job of evoking the emotion and procedural drive of Tom McCarthy’s phenomenal drama—it certainly made me mighty excited to see the film.
Elsewhere, Deadpool took home the Best Action award, The Jungle Book won Best Animation/Family, Keanu scored Best Comedy, and The Martian somewhat surprisingly landed the Best Drama trophy. And no, Star Wars: The Force Awakens didn’t go home empty handed, as it scored the Best Fantasy Adventure award.
