Sony has released a new international Goosebumps trailer for director Rob Letterman‘s adaptation of the beloved R.L. Stine children's horror books. Jack Black plays a fictionalized version of Stine who finds his quiet suburban life thrown into chaos when his cavalcade of creature creations unexpectedly come to life thanks to a teen neighbor, Zach (Dylan Minnette). Along with his daughter (Odeya Rush), Stine teams up with Zach to recapture the menagerie of monsters before they destroy their small town.
The first trailer focused on the teen romance and adventure angle of the story, but the new international trailer is an all out monster mash with the focus firmly placed on Stine and his creations. Early buzz around Goosebumps is extremely positive, and watching the new trailer it's no mystery why. The film looks like a pitch-perfect PG adventure that gleefully indulges in Stine's wealthy creature catalogue without nostalgia baiting. Check out the new trailer below.
