Matt noted that Awards Season begins with the 2014 Gotham Awards: the winners were announced tonight.  Alejandro G. Iñárritu's Birdman or (The Unexpected Virtue of Ignorance) took home Best Feature.  Birdman lead Michael Keaton earned Best Actor and parlayed the award name into a Batman joke in his thank you speech: "I want to thank the folks of Gotham.  It’s good to be home."

Julianne Moore won Best Actress for the tearjerker Still Alice.  The Edward Snowden documentary Citizenfour won Best Documentary.  Hit the jump for the full list of Gotham Award winners.
