If you kept up with my weekly recaps last season, you'll remember that I was not a big fan of Fox's Gotham series, having found it to be a missed opportunity of what could have been a unique adaptation. (This is why I don't make network decisions.) Gotham will return for its second season this fall and as these new images promise, the villains will rise. Two of the show's latest additions - James Frain and Jessica Lucas as Theo and Tabitha Galavan - will help to fill that role. In fact, the billionaire and his enforcer sister might just be the cause of Gotham's newest villainous uprising.

THR has an early look at the siblings and the rest of the cast in new artwork for season two of Gotham and ... boy is it something. It seems like the designers were really into the motifs of bats and upside-down cityscapes. Also, these images come from the classic school of "Change Character Size Ratios and Smash Them All Together in the Same Poster." Frain looks fine in his perfectly menacing pose, and Lucas is certainly making a statement. What worries me is how long it will take Jim Gordon (Ben McKenzie) to recover once Bruce Wayne (David Mazouz) emerges through his loins. Take a look at the new images below:
