A24 has released the first Green Room teaser trailer online. The film centers on a punk rock band that witness an act of violence backstage at a neo-Nazi dive bar that they weren’t meant to see. They then hole up in the green room and try to figure out how to escape while the bar’s owner (Patrick Stewart) devises a way to dispose of the young rockers.
In the teaser, Stewart scares the living crap out of those in hiding, telling them, "to be clear ... it won't end well." I whole-heartedly believe him. The voice-over against scenes of the two sides gearing up excels in ramping-up the tension. Can we all agree that Stewart is the best? If you want to see a lighter side to him, though, I recommend checking out Starz's series Blunt Talk.
For now, check out the new trailer below. The film opens in limited release on April 1, 2016, goes nationwide on April 15, 2016, and also stars Anton Yelchin, Imogen Poots, Alia Shawkat, Joe Cole, Callum Turner, Mark Webber, Eric Edelstein, Kai Lennox, and Macon Blair.

Down on their luck punk rockers The Ain’t Rights are finishing up a long and unsuccessful tour, and are about to call it quits when they get an unexpected booking at an isolated, run-down club deep in the backwoods of Oregon. Now trapped backstage, they must face off against the club’s depraved owner, Darcy Banker (Stewart), a man who will do anything to protect the secrets of his nefarious enterprise.
