Nathan Fillion and James Gunn go back to the director’s first feature film, Slither; the pair then re-teamed for Gunn’s Super, a send-up of superhero films in the vein of Kick-Ass. When the writer-director struck it big in getting to helm his own Marvel movie, Gunn featured Fillion in a minor voice role for Guardians of the Galaxy. If you didn’t catch him the first time around, he was that blue-skinned alien who gave Peter Quill a rough time in the Kyln. Fillion returns for another small appearance in Guardians of the Galaxy, Vol. 2., but photos leaked from the set reveal he’ll get to show his face this time around.

Consider this your warning about any spoilers from the film.

Just as footage from the Atlanta set leaked online revealing an Earthbound sequence, new photos now reveal a scene featuring the Simon Williams Film Festival. Does that name sound familiar? Comic book fans may recognize him as the alter-ego of Wonder Man, who began as a super-strong and invulnerable henchman for Baron Zemo (who’ll make his MCU debut in Captain America: Civil War as played by Daniel Brühl) but later defected to the Avengers. The character may have started out as a scientist, but he eventually became an actor and stuntman.
