The steady stream of Guardians of the Galaxy marketing continues as Marvel has released an extended TV spot for their upcoming sci-fi action film.  The story follows five intergalactic misfits—Peter Quill aka Star-Lord (Chris Pratt), Gamora (Zoe Saldana), Drax the Destroyer (Dave Bautista), Groot (voiced by Vin Diesel), and Rocket (voiced by Bradley Cooper)—as they set out to protect a powerful and mysterious orb from the villainous Ronan the Accuser (Lee Pace).  This extended TV spot features plenty of fresh footage for a film that looks better and better.  Also, kudos to Marvel for their song selections when it comes to these ads.  Most movies and TV spots just pull from whatever is topping the iTunes chart.  Guardians is playing classic tunes.  They've used "Hooked on a Feeling", "Spirit in the Sky", and now "Cherry Bomb".  Well done.
