As most of you know, I recently did an epic hour-long video interview with director Guillermo del Toro, and over the past week I’ve been breaking it down into smaller segments. For today’s installment, del Toro talks about the soundtrack of Pacific Rim, the collectables we can expect next year, and reveals he paid for his own set of productionmaquettes for his personal collection. If you're a fan of Ramin Djawadi (who's done the soundtracks for Prison Break, Iron Man and Game of Thrones), he's going to be scoring Pacific Rim and del Toro seems really happy with what he's heard thus far.  And for fans of Sideshow Collectibles and Gentle Giant, del Toro pretty much confirms we'll be getting very cool collectibles based on Pacific Rim next year.  I can't wait to see the different robots (Jaegers) and monsters (Kaiju) as huge collectibles.  Hit the jump for today's installment and look for more with del Toro tomorrow night.pacific-rim-charlie-hunnam-rinko-kikuchiGuillermo del Toro:
