Yesterday we showed you a teaser of Edgar Wright’s new music video for Pharrell Williams and Daft Punk’s single, “Gust of Wind,” and now the full piece has arrived.  It doesn’t make up for the loss of a Wright-directed Ant-Man, but it’s still nice to get a little something while we wait for one of his other projects to get going – Baby Driver, Grasshopper Jungle and that new one he’s developing with Simon Pegg.

I doubt the song will catch on for me personally, but the combination of the tone of the track and Wright’s visual choices, especially those shot transitions, do make it a particularly smooth, pleasant watch.  Hit the jump to check out the “Gust of Wind” music video for yourself.

Wright’s directed a bunch of music videos at this point, a handful of which we shared with you yesterday.  “Gust of Wind” does make for a quality new addition, but I’ve still got a soft spot for his video for The Bluetones’ “After Hours.”  There’s a wild amount of eye-catching elements in every single frame of that piece, the one-shot technique is absolutely seamless and the song is still incredibly catchy as well.  We’ve got “Gust of Wind” below for you as well as the video for “After Hours,” too.
