Cults are all the rage right now. Ubisoft just released its cult-centric video game Far Cry 5, Netflix has a truly outrageous documentary miniseries by the name of Wild Wild Country and Hulu's series The Path is still going strong. But that latter streaming-content platform's heavy-hitter, award-winner, and cult phenomenon in more ways than one is The Handmaid's Tale, returning for its second, highly anticipated season this April. Today, a brand-new Season 2 trailer arrived and revealed just how the fight for freedom will continue.

The series stars Elisabeth Moss, Joseph Fiennes, Yvonne Strahovski, Samira Wiley, Alexis Bledel, Ann Dowd, Max Minghella, Madeline Brewer, O-T Fagbenle and Amanda Brugel. Guest stars this season include Marisa Tomei, Cherry Jones, Bradley Whitford, and Clea DuVall. The first two episodes of the 13-episode Season 2 arrive on Hulu Wednesday, April 25th.

The Emmy-winning drama series returns with a second season shaped by Offred’s pregnancy and her ongoing fight to free her future child from the dystopian horrors of Gilead. “Gilead is within you” is a favorite saying of Aunt Lydia. In Season Two, Offred and all our characters will fight against – or succumb to – this dark truth.
