The Doctor returns this February.  No, not the time-traveling one, the people-eating one.  NBC has announced that creator Bryan Fuller’s excellent drama series Hannibal will kick off its second season on Friday, February 28th, following the conclusion of Dracula’s 10-episode run.  The series follows the complicated relationship between FBI profiler Will Graham (Hugh Dancy) and brilliant psychiatrist Dr. Hannibal Lector (Mads Mikkelsen), and the first season was one of the more involving runs of television I’ve seen in a while.  Fuller has big plans for the series going forward that involve bringing in the Red Dragon storyline, so hopefully the ratings improve in the upcoming second season—though I’m not exactly enthused about the show’s new Friday timeslot.  That being said, I can't wait to see how the second season progresses given the events of the first season finale.
