So the big Marvel film of the summer opens this week here in the US; which has already made over $200 million overseas. Our own Robert Meyer Burnett and Amy Dallen got a chance to see it last night finally, so the panel look at what we can expect from the audiences and box office. With additional TV clips dropping as of late, the hype is overwhelming for this panel of Heroes.

The Batman to Feature Rogue Gallery of Iconic Villains

Ben Affleck and Geoff Johns have complete creative control over the upcoming feature film The Batman, with a new rumor stating that many villains are reportedly going to appear in the new film. The panel discuss the movie versions of The Joker, TwoFace, Scarecrow, Bane, Ras Al ghul, The Riddler, Penquin and Catwoman in all the previous Batman films so now they wonder - who's going to pop up in this new Batfleck universe? Will it be The Joker played by Jered Leto? Harley Quinn played by Margot Robbie? Or/and Killer Croc played by Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje?

The Punisher Get's a Series Order from Netflix!

After an incredible introduction in the second season of Daredevil on Netflix, The Punisher, with an incredibly tough and nuanced portrayal by Jon Bernthal, has been given a full season greenlight at Netflix! Frank Castle will likely be seen in some of the upcoming series like The Defenders and perhaps even Luke Cage and/or Iron Fist (maybe just a cameo). The Collider Heroes panel dig in deep on what they can expect from the new series.

Robert Downey Jr. & Jon Favreau Returning to Marvel!

This past week we have found out that Jon Favreau is interested in returning to Marvel as more than an executive producer on future Marvel projects. We also hear that Robert Downey Jr. is very interested in doing an Iron Man 4... Does this sound like a re-team-up? Could Favreau and Downey collaborate on another Iron Man movie for Marvel?

The Flash In Search of a New Director

Over the weekend, The Flash lost its first time directorSeth Grahame-Smith due to “creative differences.” Now the search is on for a new helmer. After the report, more rumors surfaced stating that James Wan is also possibly abandoning ship from the Aquaman. Then he cleared that up with a well-timed picture of him leaning against a giant image of Aquaman. All this led to more speculation about Warner Bros. and Zack Snyder, with rumors that just won't quit about problems between him and the studio over Justice League. What is going on over at DC? Should we be worried?

Flashback: Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015)

The sequel to The Avengers came to us in 2015, with more Avengers introduced like The Vision, Scarlet Witch, War Machine and The Falcon; and for a few minutes Quicksilver. We had the return of the original Avengers that include Captain America, Iron Man, Thor, The Hulk, Black Widow, and Hawkeye; with Nick Fury and Maria Hill back as well. We had the introduction to several new villains like Ulysses Klaue - with the debut of the big bad in Ultron; voiced with an ominous yet silky evil voice by James Spader. This movie was written and directed by super-talent Joss Whedon, who made the first Avengers film, as well as many incredible tv series like Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel, and Firefly. This movie was big, dense, and chock full of action. It moved lots of plot points forward for the bigger phase coming to us with Infinity War and Thanos. This movie develops the story of whether the Avengers should be in control of the safety of the world that mirrors and helps shape Civil War.
