Today, we have an exclusive featurette for Hitman: Agent 47. Directed by Aleksander Bach from a script by Skip Woods and Michael Finch, the film stars Rupert Friend (Homeland) as the titular assassin -- a genetically engineered killing machine. When the villainous John Smith (Zachary Quinto) goes hunting for the secrets to Agent 47's skills, the elite assassin goes on a world-wide chase to take down the nefarious mega-corporation looking to create an army of deadly agents all their own.

Given Hollywood's recent track record with video game adaptations, I'm hesitantly optimistic about Agent 47. I will say this clip reveals that Bach shoots his exotic locales with an eye-catching sleekness and rich pops of color. Check out our exclusive featurette below and judge for yourself.

Here’s the official Hitman: Agent 47 synopsis:

HITMAN: AGENT 47 centers on an elite assassin who was genetically engineered from conception to be the perfect killing machine, and is known only by the last two digits on the barcode tattooed on the back of his neck. He is the culmination of decades of research and forty-six earlier Agent clones — endowing him with unprecedented strength, speed, stamina and intelligence. His latest target is a mega-corporation that plans to unlock the secret of Agent 47’s past to create an army of killers whose powers surpass even his own. Teaming up with a young woman who may hold the secret to overcoming their powerful and clandestine enemies, 47 confronts stunning revelations about his own origins and squares off in an epic battle with his deadliest foe.
