If you've been waiting to get a glimpse of Universal Pictures‘ Fast & Furious franchise spinoff, Hobbs & Shaw, you won't have to wait much longer. A new teaser promises the arrival of the film's first trailer this Friday, but it also shows off the movie's title treatment and Fast & Furious lead-in tag. We'll have a bit more to chew on once the official trailer releases this Friday, so enjoy this taste for now.
Dwayne Johnson returns as Hobbs and teams up with Jason Statham’s Deckard Shaw for Deadpool 2 director David Leitch, who directs from a script by Chris Morgan, the franchise’s screenwriting architect since Tokyo Drift. Also starring Vanessa Kirby as Deckard’s sister Hattie and Idris Elba as Brixton, the villain of the piece, Hobbs & Shaw hits theaters on August 2, 2019.
