The year is almost at an end, but before the Best of 2016 lists are drawn up and debated it is time to think about what to get that special TV fan in your life. Or you might want to get yourself a treat because yeah you deserve it. There are plenty of TV themed gifts on offer including books, toys and apparel. We’ve got a mixture of inspired by items and versions of clothing, accessories and makeup you have seen on screen ranging in price from affordable to splurge. Food and drink also make the list and we’ve covered all bases for even the trickiest person to please in our gift guide below:

Cookbooks, Novels, and More

Let's kick things off with some good old-fashioned reading material. Stunning books for your coffee table and kitchen include “The Making of Outlander” and “Outlander Kitchen” for all your Claire and Jamie Fraser cooking and stunning production detail desires.

If you’re looking for something even more adventurous in the kitchen and miss Will Graham’s sessions with Hannibal then how about “Feeding Hannibal: A Connoisseurs Cookbook”? It might freak your guests out if they see it on your shelf or they might wonder what they are eating, but really this is an in-depth behind the scenes look at Hannibal food stylist Janice Poon’s work on the show with recipes, photos and annotations.

For fans of Twin Peaks and those highly anticipating the new Showtime series “The Secret History of Twin Peaks: A Novel” from the show’s co-creator Mark Frost is a timely gift idea. And for the person who is still sad that Looking has come to an end then this beautiful photo biography of the show is must.

In books that were made into shows this year there is “The Good Girls Revolt” by Lynn Povich and Jeffrey Toobin’s “The Run of His Life: The People v. O.J. Simpson.” To get ahead of the HBO miniseries starring Reese Witherspoon and Nicole Kidman “Big Little Lies” by Liane Moriarty is a great choice.

Comedy-wise, Broad City star Abbi Jacobson has an illustrated book called “Carry This Book” that delves into what we keep in our bags, pockets and purses. Jacobson’s Broad City co-creator Ilana Glazer produced the oh so fabulous podcast Soo Many White Guys from Phoebe Robinson and her collection of essays “You Can’t Touch My Hair” is as hilarious as it is informative. It also includes an introduction from former Daily Show correspondent (and 2 Dope Queens co-host) Jessica Williams and you can now get your hands on the oral history of The Daily Show in hardback book form.

Wine and Spirits

Moving on from gifts for book and TV lovers we’ve got some excellent suggestions for the wine aficionado in your life including Pinot Noir by Tituss Burgess because all wines should come with a theme song.

A decent sized wine glass is also required as expertly demonstrated by Olivia Pope and Alicia Florrick; Crate & Barrel has this covered. And for that true Good Wife wine fan then how about this perfect Secret Santa priced bottle opener complete with logo gift.

Another Good Wife themed present in the under $5 category is this Chumhum pen and if you want to hit the other end of the scale then check out the Mitchell Gold + Bob Williams Decor collection featuring furniture from Alicia’s home and the Lockhart Gardner (and every other name this firm has had) offices. Adding Will’s chair to the ultimate splurge part of this list.

'Gilmore Girls'-Specific

One show has that has been dominating recent TV talk is Gilmore Girls. There are plenty of gift options for fans of this show including the very appropriately titled “They Scoop Gilmores, Don’t They?” ice cream from Apple Hills. The 4-pack is called “Where You Lead, I Will Marshmallow” and they get points for puns as well as the super cute packaging.

You can also wear your Gilmore feelings on your chest with either the “I’m With Lorelai” or “I’m With Rory” T-shirts from Rachel Antonoff. If only there was also an “I’m with Emily” one. Lorelai also wore a Rachel Antonoff sweatshirt in A Year in the Life if you were looking for a more subtle nod to the show or waiting for the T-shirts to come back into stock. Keeping with the products featured in the revival and while Goop got a mention, Lorelai is also partial to Reese Witherspoon’s lifestyle brand Draper James and she can be seen in “Summer” with the fabulously titled “Totes Y’all” Vanderbilt tote and Lorelai is way more Reese than Gwyneth.

On the cheaper end of the scale you can also get your hands on Lauren Graham’s new book “Talking as Fast as I Can: From Gilmore Girls to Gilmore Girls (and Everything in Between)” and these essays cover exactly what the title suggests.

Beauty Products

Moving on from Gilmore Girls, but keeping with the memoir theme and Taraji P. Henson’s “Around the Way Girl” delves into post-Oscar nomination uncertainty and everything that has led up to one of the most memorable characters on TV right now.

Beauty products are another great gift idea and even though Agent Carter is no more you can still wear the same red lipstick that Peggy did in the series; Besame’s “1946” red velvet lip color is a true replica of that period and comes in fabulous packaging to boot. For something more 2016 and from one of this year’s standouts then give the gift of Fleabag’s darker shade and she wears “Dare You” by MAC (hat tip to Katie Heaney for the investigative work). For a Cookie approved present and to get red carpet ready with a more subtle tone then try out Taraji P. Henson’s very own MAC color “Strip Me Down” that she wore at the Emmys this year.

'Game of Thrones'-Specific

While we’re on the subject of splurge; for your very own Khaleesi this dragon choker by Yunus & Eliza as worn by Daenerys on Game of Thrones is statement jewelry at its best. Other items such as bangles, earrings and cuffs are also available.

For Game of Thrones gifts that don’t cost a month’s rent then there are also plenty of options from Moleskin notebooks, socks gift box, Direwolf plush toys - so we can pretend that they are all still alive - and T-shirts to celebrate the true heroes of Westeros. HBO also has you covered in the Game of Thrones board games department with versions of Monopoly, Risk and Clue.

Stocking Stuffers

Both the HBO and NBC stores have plenty of stocking stuffer ideas including Silicon Valley pens (with a stylus!) and a mouse mat for that retro feel.

To show off your show affiliation in the office there are wide range of mugs varying in size/style from HBO and NBC including Insecure, The Comeback, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Parks and Recreation, Friends and Law & Order: SVU.

From CBS they have the Clyde from Elementary fans covered with this offering to make up for all those episodes he is absent from.

In other wine glass options you can get this Kathie Lee and Hoda stemless set for a steal right now. And if shots are more their thing a Deadwood Gem Saloon glass is a great alternative. For the slightly more out there drinking receptacle and if you have an aspiring spy to buy for, FX has an Americans binocular flask available.

Figurines, Pins, and More

Keeping on the stocking gift theme and pop culture pins are all the rage right now and it is another really great way for a fan to show off which show they love. Weirdo Weapons covers past and present including Claire Fisher’s green hearse from Six Feet Under, Peggy Olson’s Mad Men strut of glory and the phone from Stranger Things.

Also delivering on the great pins front (as well as socks) is Heartificial with drunk Ron Swanson, Luke’s Diner, the Mr. Robot store logo and Sam Weir from Freaks and Geeks looking annoyed all up for grabs.

Sticking with the affordable gifts that cover a wide range of genres and Funko’s Pop TV figures have everything from Golden Girls and Outlander to The Flash and Preacher covered.

Happy shopping!
