Paramount has chosen a timely new teaser for its upcoming Hot Tub Time Machine 2.  (You can check out the latest full red band trailer here).

The just-released teaser is Super Bowl-themed (are we allowed to say Super Bowl?  Surely not twice.  ::Looks around in fear for NFL trademark squad to swoop::), referencing the Patriots, and even manages a well-edited dig at Deflate Gate.  Of course, Hot Tub Time Machine being what it is, "balls" takes on a rather different meaning (although proper levels of inflation still appears to be an issue).

Steve Pink's comedy sequel will reunite Craig Robinson, Rob Corddry, Clark Duke, and Chevy Chase.  The new movie will also star Adam Scott and Gillian Jacobs.

You can see what happens when the laws of space and time (and balls) are violated when Hot Tub Time Machine 2 is released -- the film is slated to hit theaters February 20th.

When Lou (Rob Corddry) finds himself in trouble, Nick (Craig Robinson) and Jacob (Clark Duke) fire up the hot tub time machine in an attempt to get back to the past. But they inadvertently land in the future with Adam Jr. (Adam Scott). Now they have to alter the future in order to save the past… which is really the present, in the sequel from the same team that brought you the original cult hit.
