‘Hotel Transylvania 3’: New Trailer Sets a Trap for the Drac Pack

A new trailer for Sony Pictures Animation’s Hotel Transylvania 3 has arrived just in time to make your summer vacation plans! Subtitled “Summer Vacation”, this story takes Adam Sandler‘s fan-favorite Dracula character on an ocean-going cruise along with his closest family and friends. The twist here is that Drac is feeling a little lonely despite the many monstrous companions that join him on this journey and he’s looking for a little companionship. I guess you could call it “companion-ship” because, lo and behold, Drac finds himself infatuated with a member of the cruise ship’s crew. But things are not as rosy as they seem on the surface, as this new trailer reveals.

Directed by Genndy Tartakovsky, who co-wrote the film with Michael McCullersHotel Transylvania 3: Summer Vacation also stars Andy Samberg (Johnny), Selena Gomez (Mavis), Kevin James (Frank), David Spade (Griffin), Steve Buscemi (Wayne), Keegan-Michael Key (Murray), Molly Shannon (Wanda), Fran Drescher (Eunice), Kathryn Hahn (Ericka), Jim Gaffigan (Van Helsing) and Mel Brooks (Vlad). Here’s the official synopsis:

In Sony Pictures Animation’s Hotel Transylvania 3: Summer Vacation, join our favorite monster family as they embark on a vacation on a luxury monster cruise ship so Drac can take a summer vacation from providing everyone else’s vacation at the hotel. It’s smooth sailing for Drac’s Pack as the monsters indulge in all of the shipboard fun the cruise has to offer, from monster volleyball to exotic excursions, and catching up on their moon tans. But the dream vacation turns into a nightmare when Mavis realizes Drac has fallen for the mysterious captain of the ship, Ericka, who hides a dangerous secret that could destroy all of monsterkind.
