In the new promo materials for Netflix's House of Cards, now-President Underwood (Kevin Spacey) and Claire (Robin Wright) are returning to Washington.

There's something cooly ominous, though, about the pair's decent down the steps of Air Force One. Though House of Cards was based off of a British miniseries of the same name, Netflix's version has certainly forged its own path in terms of both character and plot, particularly in the second season, so anything is possible.

What we do know: in the upcoming season, Underwood will continue to scheme and manipulate (what else would he do?) to secure his legacy at all costs. Claire though, of course, is not just content being a traditional First Lady, and spars with her husband as she vies for more power. (Is it an important hint that the two are positioned equally in the poster?  Under a stormy sky, naturally). According to the promotional material, "The biggest threat they face is contending with each other."

The series is executive produced by David Fincher, Joshua Donen, Beau Willimon, Kevin Spacey, Dana BrunettiJohn David Coles and Eric Roth.

House of Cards Season 3 will launch all of its 13 episodes on Friday, February 27th at 12:01 a.m. PT on Netflix.
