In a previous clip from DreamWorks Animation's upcoming trilogy capper How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World, the dialogue between Stoick the Vast and a very young Hiccup suggested a retcon that would see the Viking leader going soft on dragons in the past. A new trailer, revealed today, omits that fact and instead focuses on Hiccup's mission to discover the hidden world of the dragons in the face of a powerful threat to dragons and Vikings alike. And on the sweeter side of things, Toothless will get a chance to find romance for the first time in the franchise.

In How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World, series director Dean DeBlois returns alongside the all-star cast featuring Jay Baruchel, America Ferrera, Cate Blanchett, Kit Harrington, Craig Ferguson, and F. Murray Abraham. The film is produced by Brad Lewis (Ratatouille, ANTZ) and Bonnie Arnold (Toy Story, How to Train Your Dragon, How to Train Your Dragon 2). The final chapter in the HTTYD feature trilogy arrives February 22nd, 2019.
