The summer blockbuster season is over, so it’s almost time for the late fall blockbuster season to begin.  Lionsgate is beginning to ramp up their marketing for The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, and have released a new poster for the highly anticipated sequel.  The story finds President Snow (Donald Sutherland) trying to crush a budding rebellion that was ignited by Katniss’ (Jennifer Lawrence) actions in the previous film, as the 75th Hunger Games (aka Quarter Quell) finds past victors competing against each other.  The new poster is similar to one for the first movie, but it bears the tagline, “Remember Who the Enemy Is”.  Are we the enemy? I don’t remember doing anything to warrant Katniss shooting me in the face.

Here’s the official synopsis for The Hunger Games: Catching Fire:

THE HUNGER GAMES: CATCHING FIRE begins as Katniss Everdeen has returned home safe after winning the 74th Annual Hunger Games along with fellow tribute Peeta Mellark.  Winning means that they must turn around and leave their family and close friends, embarking on a “Victor’s Tour” of the districts.  Along the way Katniss senses that a rebellion is simmering, but the Capitol is still very much in control as President Snow prepares the 75th Annual Hunger Games (The Quarter Quell) – a competition that could change Panem forever.
