Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity’s second wave DLC, "Guardian of Remembrance", is now available for purchase. Nintendo released a short trailer on the company’s Youtube channel, showcasing a lot of the expansion’s new features in action.

"Guardian of Remembrance" gives a new story to play through with chapters titled: “Battle For Kakariko Village,” “Battle of Goponga Village,” and others. There are also more stages to look forward to, with players given the ability to battle in the Coliseum, Lanayru Road, and more. The expansion’s new playable characters feature one mystery character and fan-favorite couple, Purah and Robbie. Players will be able to use their ancient technological abilities to gain the upper hand in battles.

Lastly, another noticeable inclusion is extra impressive powers for already existing playable characters, among these are Zelda and Impa. The stories are also expected to reveal more about the mysterious little guardian and the highly respected Champions.

The first wave, "Pulse of the Ancients" DLC, was released in June of this year and added loads of extra content to the game as well: a new playable guardian, more weapon types for already existing characters, “Apocalyptic” difficulty level, new enemies with different weapons, fresh side quests, and more music tracks.

Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity debuted in 2020 and was received with high praise from the fanbase. This hack-and-slash Zelda spinoff follows the heroes as they battle to save Hyrule in the same tragic events that take place 100 years before The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. So, players go into this game knowing how it will all end, but it offers a new battle experience and a chance to get to know the Champions’ backstories rather than just from a few cutscenes in Breath of the Wild.
