At the moment, Amazon hasn't made any announcement on whether I Know What You Did Last Summer will have a second season. However, Goodman has admitted that she has some ideas for Season 2.
"There's a couple of different versions that could be Season 2, for sure," Goodman told ComicBook.com. "And yes, it can certainly be reinvented. Maybe if there's characters alive, maybe if there's not."

I Still Know What You Did Last Summer (1998): Set exactly one year after the previous film, I Still Know What You Did Last Summer features a mix of old and new characters being stalked by the same killer all the way to The Bahamas.
