Heat Vision and The Wrap report that Elba and Trinca will join The Gunman.  Based on the novel by Jean-Patrick Manchette, "Penn stars as a professional killer who attempts to leave his job behind for the woman (Trinca) he loves, but finds it's harder than expected.  Bardem will play Trinca's husband, who married her to spite the protagonist, while Elba is near a deal to play a dangerous operative who will stop at nothing to get his way."  Elba has a number of high-profile pictures coming up, including Guillermo del Toro's Pacific Rim, Thor: The Dark World and Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom.

Deadline has Hendricks in final negotiations for Measure of a Man.  The picture already stars Riley Griffiths (Super 8) as "a bullied teen negotiating the challenging path to manhood under the guidance of a reclusive Wall Street executive who gives him a summer job." Hendricks plays the boy’s mother, whose fierce independence and career ambitions are causing her marital stress. Production is slated to kick off this summer in Connecticut and New York.

Deadline also reports that Bennett will join The Equalizer, a feature adaptation of the 80s TV series.  Washington stars as McCall, a former covert operative who dedicates his life to helping those in need to make amends for his dark past in a secret agency, Leo will play McCall’s former handler and Moretz will play a young prostitute.
