Netflix’s new spy thriller In From the Cold has released first look photos ahead of its January 2022 debut. It seems like this ice-cold series will give viewers an action-packed experience to close out the holiday season.
The new photos showcase a star-studded cast, including Margarita Levieva, who will be making her Netflix debut alongside Cillian O’Sullivan. Lydia Fleming, who plays Becca, will be making her full acting debut with this series. The cast also includes Charles Brice, Alyona Khmelnitskaya, Amanda Bright, and Anastasia Martin.
Adam Glass, who has produced shows such as Supernatural, Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders, and The Chi, is set to be the showrunner as well as executive produce the series. Directorial duties will be split between Ami Canaan Mann and Birgitte Stærmose.
In From the Cold was originally scheduled to begin filming in Madrid, Spain in March 2020, but production was set back due to the pandemic. The series eventually went into post-production in March of this year.
If these new photos are any indication, this new spy thriller will definitely bring chills and thrills to Netflix viewers as they dive into this new spy series. In From the Cold is set to debut on January 28 on the streamer. Check out the first-look images and the series' official synopsis below:
During a European vacation with her daughter, an American single mom’s life is turned upside down when the CIA forces her to confront her long-buried past as a Russian spy who was also the product of a highly classified KGB experiment granting her special abilities. After a mysterious string of manic and murderous incidents suggests someone with her exact abilities is targeting innocent people, Jenny (Margarita Levieva) is forced out of hiding to stop this villain or risk losing the family and new life she has built.
