Disney has released a new Incredibles 2 TV spot. The upcoming sequel has Helen (Holly Hunter) going off to do hero stuff, which leaves Bob (Craig T. Nelson) trying to hold down the fort with an adolescent-rage violet (Sarah Vowell), a rambunctious Jack-Jack, and Dash (Huck Milner) with his own issues.

I’m incredibly (no pun intended) excited for this movie, and I love everything I’ve seen from it so far. While I still think the first Incredibles gets misinterpreted (people think it has a Randian philosophy, but I see it more as saying people need to discover what makes them special rather than espousing a view that there are special and non-special people), I’m eager to see what director Brad Bird has on his mind for the highly-anticipated sequel.

Check out the Incredibles 2 TV spot below. The film opens June 15th and also features the voices of Samuel L. JacksonBob OdenkirkCatherine KeenerJonathan BanksSophia Bush, and Isabella Rossellini.

Here’s the official synopsis for Incredibles 2:

Everyone’s favorite family of superheroes is back in “Incredibles 2” – but this time Helen (voice of Holly Hunter) is in the spotlight, leaving Bob (voice of Craig T. Nelson) at home with Violet (voice of Sarah Vowell) and Dash (voice of Huck Milner) to navigate the day-to-day heroics of “normal” life. It’s a tough transition for everyone, made tougher by the fact that the family is still unaware of baby Jack-Jack’s emerging superpowers. When a new villain hatches a brilliant and dangerous plot, the family and Frozone (voice of Samuel L. Jackson) must find a way to work together again—which is easier said than done, even when they’re all Incredible. Directed by Brad Bird (“Iron Giant,” “The Incredibles”) and produced by John Walker (“The Incredibles”) and Nicole Grindle (“Sanjay’s Super Team” short, “Toy Story 3” associate producer), “Incredibles 2” busts into theaters on June 15, 2018.
