A new trailer for Inside Amy Schumer Season 4 has been released online, and if you’re at work, it’s probably best to save this one for later. This latest trailer offers our most extensive look at the new season yet, and star/creator Amy Schumer’s satire game still appears to be very much on point. This 90-second trailer covers a lot of ground, from a female President to guns to gynecological exams. And yes, sex. But if prior seasons of her show are any indication, Schumer’s not going for the gross-out gag or the easy joke, but instead biting social commentary about the world we live in. It’s just that this social commentary is chock-full of vagina jokes.
It’s been great to watch Schumer’s rise from a comic with a Comedy Central series to one of the biggest comedy stars on the planet, and while her film and stand-up careers have both taken off, she remains committed to Inside Amy Schumer, which last season resulted in some of the best comedy television of the year. The 12 Angry Men episode is an all-timer, and I can't wait to see what Schumer and her team have in store for us this year.
But in addition to spearheading and starring in Inside Amy Schumer Season 4, Schumer is also busy co-writing a feature film with Jennifer Lawrence and gearing up to star alongside Goldie Hawn in a mother/daughter comedy that she also wrote, which has 50/50 helmer Jonathan Levine attached to direct. And most recently she shot a role opposite Miles Teller in the PTSD drama Thank You For Your Service.
In the immediate future, though, we’ll get a weekly dose of Amy Schumer via Inside Amy Schumer’s fourth season, which kicks off on Comedy Central on April 21st. Watch the very funny new trailer below.
