"What happened?" "What's happening to me?" Nobody in these clips knows what the hell is going on and I love it. That feels right. After all, getting possessed would be a pretty WTF experience. Other than that, there's not a here as these clips are pretty expository. There are teases of the new demon,'The Man Who Can't Breath', and the footage alludes to just how nasty of a villain he is by revealing Stefanie Scott in a cast and neck brace.

Lin Shaye is wonderful, as always, and goes right for the heartstrings, as always. Even though these are pretty dull clips, I'm very excited to check out Insidious: Chapter 3. There's a lot of positive buzz around Whannell's directorial debut, and I'm thrilled at the prospect of an entry in the franchise that finally puts Shaye front and center. Three cheers for Elise!
