A batch of new images of some upcoming action figures for Marvel’s Iron Man 3 have landed online.  Though they’re not super clear, these images may hint at what fans can expect from the Shane Black-directed film.  In the film’s first trailer, we saw Tony Stark’s Malibu home being destroyed and Iron Man dropping into the water like a ton of bricks.  Marvel’s Kevin Feige has made no secret of the fact that they want to get Tony metaphorically “back in the cave” from the first film with this sequel, and armor seen on these action figures seems to suggest that Tony Stark will find himself with limited resources following the aforementioned attack.  We also get a look at what could be Tony’s new ride in the form of a toy car.Hit the jump to take a look at the action figure images.  Iron Man 3 opens in 3D on May 3, 2013.Via Idle Hands.

Here’s the official synopsis for Iron Man 3:

With his back against the wall, Stark is left to survive by his own devices, relying on his ingenuity and instincts to protect those closest to him.
