In order to be a giant slayer, one must first have giants.  Luckily for Jack, played by Nicholas Hoult in Jack the Giant Slayer, he'll get a chance to earn his moniker by battling Fee, Fye, Foe and/or Fumm.  We've got a great look at the four named giants from the famous "Jack and the Beanstalk" quatrain in addition to some giants with unfamiliar names (Fallon?) in these newly released posters from the Bryan Singer film.

Also starring Ewan McGregor, Stanley Tucci, Bill Nighy, Ian McShane, Warwick Davis and Eleanor Tomlinson, Jack the Giant Slayer opens March 1, 2013.  Hit the jump to check out the gigantic new posters. [Update: One more banner poster has been released featuring all the giants together.]

Here’s the official synopsis for Jack the Giant Slayer:

Jack the Giant Slayer tells the story of an ancient war that is reignited when a young farmhand unwittingly opens a gateway between our world and a fearsome race of giants. Unleashed on the Earth for the first time in centuries, the giants strive to reclaim the land they once lost, forcing the young man, Jack, into the battle of his life to stop them. Fighting for a kingdom, its people, and the love of a brave princess, he comes face to face with the unstoppable warriors he thought only existed in legend—and gets the chance to become a legend himself.
