Universal Pictures has released a new behind-the-scenes featurette for the highly anticipated sequel Jason Bourne, and boy does this thing just look all kinds of terrific. The video not only reveals some fantastic new footage from the actioner, but also has Matt Damon and director Paul Greengrass talking about the character’s legacy and teasing where we find Jason Bourne in their third collaboration in the franchise—Damon’s fourth time playing the role.

Damon puts it best when he says, “I’m excited to be working on a Paul Greengrass movie again.” Indeed, while a Bourne sequel is all well and good, what really makes this something to be excited for is that Greengrass is back at the helm. He’s an incredibly talented filmmaker adept at crafting films that are both thrilling and challenging, and we can rest assured that Jason Bourne will have something thoughtful to say about the world we live in. But yes of course, there will also be fisticuffs aplenty.

New to the franchise in Jason Bourne are Tommy Lee Jones and Alicia Vikander as CIA agents intent on bringing Bourne back, which as Damon and Greengrass tease also leads to new revelations about Bourne’s past. Is it July yet?

Check out the behind-the-scenes featurette below, via Universal Pictures. The film also stars Julia Stiles and Vincent Cassel and opens in theaters on July 29th.

Here’s the official synopsis for Jason Bourne:

Matt Damon returns to his most iconic role in Jason Bourne.  Paul Greengrass, the director of The Bourne Supremacy and The Bourne Ultimatum, once again joins Damon for the next chapter of Universal Pictures’ Bourne franchise, which finds the CIA’s most lethal former operative drawn out of the shadows.
