Jennifer Aniston to Star in Dramedy MISS YOU ALREADY

Jennifer Aniston is attached to star in Miss You Already, a dramedy that Brit Paul Andrew Williams (The Cottage) will direct.  Per THR, the story follows “two life-long friends whose friendship falls apart when one gets pregnant and the other becomes ill.”  That sounds like pure melodrama, but the report does specify “comedy.”  Given that Miss You Already is a clear two-hander, I wonder who will land the co-starring role, said to be British.  With Aniston on board, the filmmakers have a good opportunity to land another big star to market this as a big event film for a certain demographic.  E1 just pre-bought the U.K., Australian and Canadian rights at the Berlin Film Festival.

Williams co-wrote the script with actress Morwenna Banks (Skins).  Production is scheduled for this summer in London.
