We have two pieces of casting news for you tonight.  First up, Deadline reports that Jeremy Irons has signed on to J.C. Chandor's financial thriller Margin Call.  The story is about the lead-up to the financial collapse in fall 2008 and centers on eight individuals at a prominent investment bank during a tumultuous 24-hour period.  Irons is a great addition to an already impressive cast that includes Kevin Spacey, Demi Moore, Zachary Quinto, Paul Bettany, Simon Baker, Stanley Tucci and Mary McDonnell.

Hit the jump for news about Reno 911! star Thomas Lennon coming on board the comedies A Very Harold & Kumar Christmas and What's Your Number?

THR reports that the incredibly funny Lennon will grace two upcoming projects with his presence.  In A Very Harold & Kumar Christmas, Lennon will play "a suburban dad and neighbor of Harold's who gets caught up in the pair's latest nutty adventure."  John Cho and Kal Penn are both returning as the titular stoners.  The cast also includes Patton Oswalt and the unstoppable Neil Patrick Harris.

Lennon has also been cast in the Anna Faris comedy What's Your Number? as one of the many ex-boyfriends Faris' character must dig through in her hopes of finding "the one" she may have missed the first time around.  The film also stars Chris Evans, Zachary Quinto, Matthew Bomer (White Collar), Chris Pratt (Parks and Recreation), Andy Samberg, and Joel McHale.
