Here's the deal, Internet: I'll provide you with interview footage of Jeremy Renner basically confirming Hawkeye's appearance in Captain America 3 if you make me a GIF of Renner's dramatic winks.  Sound good?

There have been a few similar unofficial confirmations of just such an occurrence in recent weeks.  Captain America 3 directors Joe and Anthony Russo themselves mentioned Hawkeye's involvement in the film during Steve's interview with them for Captain America: The Winter Soldier Blu-ray release, and around the same time, Renner mentioned the possibility of joining the film as long as his schedule allowed it.  This one sounds like a safe bet.  Hit the jump to hear it (and see it) from Renner himself.

The following video interview with Renner on Captain America 3 comes courtesy of MTV:

In case you missed it, here's what Renner said just before two mega-winks:

“I’m happy to be the ensemble. I’m not scratching or clawing to do a solo movie by any means,” Renner said. “I think he’s a utility guy that can bounce around into other people’s universes a little bit, especially like ‘Cap 3.’ ”

While the threequel starts filming in Atlanta this coming April, it's not due out until May 6, 2016.  Between now and then, Renner will next star in Michael Cuesta's biopic/crime-drama Kill the Messenger, which opens October 10th.  Then, after narrating a TV mini-series titled The World Wars, Renner will star in a number of massive franchise installments.  He'll reprise his role of Hawkeye in Joss Whedon's Avengers: Age of Ultron on May 1, 2015, followed by Christopher McQuarrie's Mission: Impossible 5, which opens Christmas Day of 2015.  As if all this wasn't enough to keep Renner busy, he's also slated to star in the Untitled Jason Bourne Sequel (as Aaron Cross...) which is currently scheduled for a July 15, 2016 release date.  Here's hoping Renner finds time between those blockbusters to work in a few passion projects as well.

Now, where's my GIF?
