While Marvel’s first foray into television with Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. drew heavy interest for its first few episodes, the show leveled off a bit and now maintains a so-so yet very devoted audience. So, understandably, while interest was piqued for Daredevil, Marvel’s first Netflix series, expectations were also measured. However, it turns out the series was a bona fide hit, garnering fairly solid critical reactions and immense fan acclaim for its darker, street-level superhero story. It did so well, in fact, that Marvel and Netflix are already in production on Season 2 (which will see creator Drew Goddard involved).

But Daredevil was just the beginning. Marvel has four Netflix series in all in development, and the next one—Marvel’s Jessica Jones—is due to be released this November. Now, after months of set photos and speculation, Marvel has released the first series of official stills from the comic-book adaptation. The show stars Krysten Ritter as the titular Jessica Jones, a former superhero who now works as a detective who gets pulled into cases in New York City. This street-level story is in keeping with Marvel's credo for its Netflix shows, which focus on more grounded, human characters while the MCU deals with space gods and such.

Melissa Rosenberg (Twilight) acts as showrunner for Jessica Jones, with Liz Friedman and Jeph Loeb also executive producing. The series also stars Mike Colter as Luke Cage, whose own Netflix series Marvel’s Luke Cage is next in line after Jessica Jones. In addition to Ritter and Colter, these images also reveal David Tennant as Kilgrave, Rachael Taylor as Trish Walker, and Carrie-Anne Moss as…someone.

Check out the new images below. All episodes of Marvel’s Jessica Jones will be released on Netflix on November 20th. The series also stars Eka Darville, Erin Moriarty, and Wil Traval.
