Jon Hamm and Rebecca Hall have been added to the cast of director Ben Affleck's "The Town".  The drama - from Warner Brothers and Legendary Pictures - will star Affleck as a notorious bank robber from... you guessed it! Boston.  Hit the jump to find out what Don Draper will be up to when he hits "The Town"...

Perhaps, like me, you have forgotten that Ben Affleck is set to direct his second feature film beginning this August.  The movie in question is based on Chuck Hogan's novel "Prince of Thieves" and will star Affleck as a dashing Boston bank robber who falls in love with a bank teller while eluding the unwanted attentions of the FBI.  Did I forget to mention that, in moving from page to screen, the story has been renamed "The Town"?  And I wondered why this one had fallen so far off of my radar.

Intensely dull title aside, Variety is reporting that Rebecca Hall ("Vicky Christina Barcelona") and Jon Hamm ("Mad Men") will be joining Affleck in Boston next month. Hamm will play the agent in charge of hunting down Boston's most wanted while Hall portrays the bank teller who catches the eye of both men.

I'm a big fan of Affleck's "Gone Baby Gone" so let's hope he can overcome that coma-inducing title long enough to get folks interested in "The Town".
