Back in October, we reported that the beloved Joss Whedon will direct an episode of FOX's breakout hit, Glee.  As those familiar with such quintessential Whedon creations as Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel, Firefly, and the recently cancelled Dollhouse know, the man likes to work with familiar faces.  For Glee, Entertainment Weekly reports that Whedon is looking to include the multi-talented Neil Patrick Harris, whom he previously directed for the online opera Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog.  Harris is game and Glee creator Ryan Murphy is keen on the idea; the only thing that might stand between Harris and TV's highest rated teen musical is, of course, network executives.  Harris is an Emmy-nominated regular on CBS's How I Met Your Mother, so the network would need to okay any appearance on FOX.

Harris recently proved his chops for the television musical number on Mother.  Check out a clip of his lyrical ode to the glory of suits after the jump.
