The Hunger Games: Catching Fire is still five months away, but with the accelerated pace Lionsgate wants for the franchise, there's no time to wait when it comes to the final two installments, The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1 and The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2.  Many of the characters from Catching Fire carry over, but there's the key role of Alma Coin, the leader of a rebellion that hopes to use Katniss (Jennifer Lawrence) as their symbol and overthrow the Capitol and President Snow (Donald Sutherland).  When I was reading the book, I pictured Cherry Jones in the role, but Lionsgate is aiming for a lot more star power.  According to Deadline, Oscar-nominee Julianne Moore is being eyed for the role.  She's also a great choice, but Moore tends to be a great choice for just about everything.

The actress is finishing out 2013 in a big way.  She's playing the villain in the fantasy blockbuster Seventh Son, she's the abusive, religious fanatic mother in the remake of Carrie, and she co-stars in Joseph Gordon-Levitt's directorial debut, Don JonThe Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1 is set for November 21, 2014 and The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2 is due out on November 20, 2015.
