Did you think it looked a little silly when Chris Pratt was busy having a chat with a bunch of raptors in the latest Jurassic World clip? Just wait until you see what it really looked like when Pratt was hanging around with them on set. Universal just unveiled four Jurassic World journals and they’re all loaded with behind-the-scenes footage of Chris Pratt just being Chris Pratt.
Despite my opening cynicism, I’m still holding out hope that the whole raptor squad thing will be more fun than ridiculous, and if anyone can make that happen, it’s Pratt. The guy is charming to the max and it’s incredibly evident in these videos. I always love checking out what things really looked like on set, especially with an SFX/VFX-heavy film like Jurassic World, but the main reason I happily watched all four of these videos from start to finish is because Pratt is so insanely charismatic.
Catch him in action in all four Jurassic World journals below. The film also stars Bryce Dallas Howard, Nick Robinson, Ty Simpkins, Vincent D’Onofrio,Irrfan Khan, Jake Johnson, Omar Sy and Judy Greer. Jurassic World hits theaters in 2D and 3D on June 12th.
[Note: I am aware that we’ve already posted some of these videos. Apologies for the error. The only new video in this post is the one titled “Chris Pratt’s Jurassic World Journals: Whistle.”]
