JURASSIC WORLD: New Featurette Welcomes You to the Park with Tons of New Footage

     May 25, 2015

jurassic-world-dinosaur-sliceUniversal Pictures has released a new Jurassic World featurette, and it’s packed with nostalgia and new footage. Featuring director Colin Trevorrow (Safety Not Guaranteed) and executive producer Steven Spielberg, the new featurette celebrates the fully operational iteration of John Hammond’s park, where the rides are packed and the park is thriving. The featurette also celebrates the original film, following the recent marketing trend to evoke nostalgia with Richard Attenborough voiceovers and familiar musical cues. “To see Jurassic World come to life is like seeing Jurassic Park come true,” says Spielberg, and that’s main reason I’m so excited to see Jurassic World when it hits theaters – we finally get to see Hammond’s vision come true, and all the dinosaur driven chaos that is bound to come with it.

The film opens in 3D on June 12th, and stars Chris PrattBryce Dallas HowardNick RobinsonTy SimpkinsVincent D’OnofrioIrrfan Khan, Jake Johnson, Omar Sy and Judy Greer. Featurette via Universal Studios.
