It’s being reported that Jurassic World will unveil a new TV spot during Super Bowl XLIX on NBC on Sunday, February 1st.  At the moment, that’s the only movie getting airtime during the big game, but blockbuster TV spots are a Super Bowl staple so there’s no doubt that more movies will be added to the list in the coming weeks.

Hit the jump for more on the Jurassic World Super Bowl TV spot.  The film is due in theaters in 2D, 3D and IMAX 3D on June 12, 2015 and stars Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, Nick Robinson, Ty Simpkins, Vincent D’Onofrio, Irrfan Khan, Jake Johnson, Omar Sy and Judy Greer.

News of the Jurassic World Super Bowl TV spot comes from Good Morning America.  Odds are the piece will be a mere 30-seconds long and won’t have time to clear up some of the concerns that the film’s first trailer sparked, but it’s Jurassic World, so I’ll take whatever I can get as long as it’s actual footage from the film and not unnecessary digital shots created solely for the promotional campaign.  Plus, it seems pretty crazy to spend money on something like that when the 30 seconds of airtime alone will reportedly cost Universal a record $4.5 million.
