With Zack Snyder and crew currently filming Justice League, the follow-up to both DC Comics and Warner Bros.' Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and the recent David Ayer-directed antihero flick Suicide Squad, we're starting to get some info as to the film's many characters, its tone, and where the storyline is going to take audiences late next year. Today's tease is a fantastic one, a behind-the-scenes set image, courtesy of Snyder himself, that reveals star Jason Momoa as Arthur Curry/Aquaman. The best part about this isn't necessarily the close-up view of the Atlantean's armor, but the fact that he's wielding an ax...of the musical variety.

Also starring Ezra Miller as Barry Allen/The Flash, Ben Affleck as Bruce Wayne/Batman, Gal Gadot as Diana Prince/Wonder Woman, Ray Fischer as Victor Stone/Cyborg, and Henry Cavill as Clark Kent/Superman, with Willem Dafoe as Nuidis Vulko, and J.K. Simmons as Commissioner Gordon, Justice League opens in theaters November 17, 2017.

Now we've already seen Momoa as Aquaman in the first Justice League trailer, which was then broken down into a bunch of fantastic images. He was decidedly terrestrial in those short reveals however, not like the underwater scene audiences got to see in Batman v Superman. But with the exception of the armor seen in the Justice League team logo, this image is the next best look at his Aquaman costume. Let us know what you think in the comments below!
