I don't know when director Steven Soderbergh plans to stop casting Magic Mike, but the answer doesn't appear to be "anytime soon."  THR adds Betsy Brandt (Breaking Bad) to the cast; more bizarrely, Deadline says professional wrestler Kevin Nash (aka "Big Sexy") will appear in the movie based on a 19-year-old Channing Tatum's experiences as a male stripper.  In the fictional version, Tatum plays a veteran dancer who teaches the new guy (Alex Pettyfer) everything he knows, including “the protocol of stage performance, the principles of money management, and rules for dating female fans.”  Matthew McConaughey, Matt Bomer, Cody Horn, Joe Mangianello, Riley Keough, Adam Rodriguez, Wendi McLendon-Covey, Olivia Munn, and Gabriel Iglesias also star.

Bloody Disgusting has confirmed Michelle Rodriguez is on board to reprise her role as Rain Ocampo in Resident Evil: Retribution---she was last seen in the first movie based on the Resident Evil video games in 2002.  Milla Jovovich will play Alice for the fifth time, starring opposite Sienna Guillory, Colin Salmon, Boris Kodjoe.  Additionally, Shawn Roberts will return in a cameo as Albert Wesker.  Paul W.S. Anderson will direct Resident Evil: Retribution for a 3D release on September 14, 2012.

Variety reports Haley Ramm (Red State) has been cast in the indie drama Disconnect.  The script by Andrew Stern centers on "a large ensemble of characters who are affected---and in some cases destroyed---by the Internet and other forms of modern communication."  Ramm will play Jason Bateman's daughter, "a popular but self-absorbed high school student whose younger brother falls victim to an online hoax perpetrated by two of his classmates."  Alexander Skarsgard, Paula Patton, Frank Grillo, Andrea Riseborough, Colin Ford, and Michael Nyqvist also star; Henry-Alex Rubin (Murderball) is directing.
