Legends of Tomorrow is having a fantastic season, completely bucking the trend of Arrowverse shows dipping in quality around Season 3. Legends somehow gets better each and every year, maybe because it's not afraid to shake things up in real ways. Though it's going to be hard for the series the beat its mid-season finale, which introduced us to Beebo the God of War, it just might get there. I mean, we did see Grodd attack a young Barack Obama in this last week's episode. Does it really get more Peak Legends than that? Well ...

In the finale, the heroes will be teaming up with Jonah Hex and reusing a lot of the show's old costumes in their fight to destroy the demon Mallus once and for all (and he was revealed as being legitimately scary this week). However, there's another friend in the mix -- or is he a foe? In speaking with EW recently, EP Marc Guggenheim revealed:

As for the finale, which he describes as “balls-out craziness,” expect many familiar faces to return — both in the hero and villain department. “It really feels like a real finale in that respect and we really draw together almost every thread and character that we’d established over the course of the third season, and yes, that includes Beebo,” Guggenheim says. “Beebo will make a phenomenal return that is quite awesome.”

Though Beebo doesn't appear in the trailer (which is good, no spoilers!), check out the perils of the Legends face below, along with the synopsis and new images from "The Good, the Bad, and the Cuddly":

“The Good, the Bad and the Cuddly” — (8:00-9:00 p.m. ET) SEASON FINALE — The Legends plan to vanquish Mallus by using the totems doesn’t go as planned, forcing Rip (guest star Arthur Darvill) to improvise. The team finds itself regrouping in the Wild West where they run into their old pal Jonah Hex (guest star Johnathon Schaech). Sara (Caity Lotz) leaves Ray (Brandon Routh) in charge of watching Damien Darhk (Neal McDonaugh), while she comes up with a new plan. Meanwhile, Amaya (Maisie Richarson-Sellers) is determined to find a way to use the totems to destroy Mallus. Dominic Purcell, Tala Ashe, Keiynan Lonsdale, Nick Zano and Franz Drameh also star. Dermott Downs directed the episode written by Marc Guggenheim & Phil Klemmer.
